Safe Environment Class – This is an Archdiocesan Mandatory Class that has to be taken before you are able to volunteer with any school related events. You will not be able to do any service hours until this class has been taken. If you have already taken this class you do not need to take it again.

New parents - please log onto the Virtus website at http://www.virtus.org/virtus/index.cfm and click the “Registration” tab to create a Virtus profile and to register for a class.

Existing parents - please log onto the Virtus website and update your current Virtus profile to make sure that you are up to date with your information and any required online classes.


Fulcrum Tuition Assistance – This year the process for those interested in applying for tuition assistance for the 2018/2019 school year has been opened up from October 1st, 2017 to January 5th, 2018. You will apply online at http://www.fulcrumfoundation.org/apply-for-grant/assistance. Please see the enclosed letter with directions on how to apply for assistance.

The application deadline is January 5th, 2018. There are no extensions. You may want to start now to ensure that you have enough time to gather all the information required.
We will not be holding a mandatory meeting this year. We are instead providing this information to you to help with your application process.

Immunizations – If your child received any new immunizations, please update your child’s record in the school office. Washington State law requires children who are older than 11 years; and if it has been at least 5 years since their last DTaP to be vaccinated. Students are required to have a Tdap when entering 6th grade. At the latest, they may receive it 5 years after their last Dtap booster.

Auction Meeting – Our first Auction meeting of the year is tonight, October 17th at 6:00 PM in the Sonny-Kenaston Family Gym. Everyone is invited to come and participate in Auction ideas and subcommittee developing. Every family is required to complete a minimum of 4 volunteer hours to Auction.

Halloween/All Saints Party Information – The annual all school Halloween/All Saints party will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 31st. This year we will have two different times for the party. Grades PS-3 will be from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM and Grades 4-8 will be from 1:00 – 2:30 PM. Please see the enclosed flyer on the rules regarding what costumes are allowed at school and what each class is required to bring regarding candy or Halloween/All Saint mini toys.

Grandparents/Senior Citizen Luncheon – Friday, November 3rd at 12:00 NOON will be our Grandparent/Senior Citizen luncheon. A flyer is enclosed in today’s Family Folder. Students will make a lunch at home for their special person/s. If you have any questions, please call the school office at 425-778-9861.

Jog-a-thon - Anything over the required $75 will be tallied for students to win a prize. Anyone not turning in their pledges will be charged through FACTS. The top class will receive a pizza party and the top five pledgers in the school will receive a monetary gift.

Cross Country Boys and Girls Team – A big Thank You to our Cross Country coach Scott Lawrence, his assistant Judi Rash and all the parent volunteers in making this season a huge success!

Hot Lunch Fundraisers (Pizza & Juice and Camp Lunches) – Please turn in your child’s request and money as soon as possible for Pizza & Juice and Camp Lunches instead of waiting until the day of the lunch. It helps the volunteers to get an early count for ordering and distributing. We will not be accepting late orders.

Save the Date! – The 11th Annual Fund Dinner is Saturday, November 18th at 6:30 PM in the Fr. Fox Social Hall. The Annual Fund is a process to seek charitable funds used to support the operating budget, provide additional resources that enrich the educational experiences of our students and keep tuition rates at a reasonable level.
