Clinton Parker - Principal
Mr. Parker brings over 10 years of experience in teaching, coaching, and leadership to St. Pius X School. Growing up in Florida, Clinton spent most of his youth in Jacksonville and eventually moved to Orlando where he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. During his teaching career Clinton pursued his Master’s in Educational Leadership and graduated from the American College of Education in January 2015. Clinton enjoys date nights with his wife of 8 years, Minh, spending time with his two children Dominic, 7 and Eva, 4, and enjoys football. His family moved to Seattle in 2013 and he served as interim administrator at Eastside Catholic School for 2 years. Clinton and his family are excited to be a part of the St. Pius X Community.
Mary Brown - Administrative Assistant
Mrs. Brown was born on May 5 in Miles City, Montana. She has a twin sister and they are the oldest of six children. Her family moved to Seattle in 1962. She grew up on Queen Anne Hill attending St. Anne’s Catholic School and then onto Queen Anne High School. She married her late husband, Paul Andrews in May 1976 and married her current husband, Paul Brown in September 2012. She has two children, her son Philip and his wife Lauren and her daughter, Kristina and her two darling little grandchildren Leila and Teo. Mrs. Brown’s family also includes her beautiful dog named Belle. Mary loves spending time with her family, walking and swimming. Mrs. Brown started as the Administrative Assistant at St. Pius X School in 2006 and she loves being here.
Jordan Weatherbie - Kindergarten
Mrs. Weatherbie is enjoying her sixth year teaching Kindergarten. It is her second year at St. Pius X and she loves it so much already! Her first four years teaching Kindergarten were at Assumption Catholic School in Bellingham and she is ecstatic to be here at St. Pius X! Mrs. Weatherbie love teaching Kindergarten and she says, “I LOVE teaching in a Catholic school. It is the best job in the world.”She got married in June 2014 so she and her husband still consider themselves 'newlyweds.' She grew up an Air Force "brat" and has lived all over the U.S. and even in Germany & England; however, she considers Colorado her home. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2011 with a degree in elementary education. After graduation Mrs. Weatherbie chose to move to Washington for student teaching, she fell in love with this state in high school and the rest is history! She enjoys baking, cooking, traveling, living her Faith, crafting, reading, bubblegum ice cream, singing, rainbow sprinkles, football (GO SEAHAWKS), and anything Disney.
Cristina Sauer - First Grade
Mrs. Sauer was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She and her husband George have been married for 25 years and together have a son who attended 12 years of Catholic education. Mrs. Sauer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Masters in Early Childhood Education. She started working for the Archdiocese in 2009 and has taught in several grades. Mrs. Sauer is overjoyed to be a part of the St. Pius X school community and is happy to be in first grade. She believes in the importance of a Catholic education working with her students and their parents to empower each student in learning to achieve his/her academic, spiritual, social, and developmental goals. Mrs. Sauer enjoys being on the water with her family exploring the islands, kayaking with her dog Skipper, playing volleyball, and rooting for the Seahawks.
Louise Moynihan - Second Grade
Mrs. Moynihan is a native Washingtonian who grew up in Spokane. After high school she moved to Bellingham to attend Western Washington University. She graduated from Western in 1974 with a major in chemistry and mathematics minor. Her first job after college was as a lab assistant at Georgia Pacific Company in Bellingham. Her husband’s teaching career took them to Westport, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Moynihan’s three daughters were born while they lived in Westport, then the family moved to Everett and then Marysville where their two sons were born. Her husband continued to teach in Everett and then Marysville schools. She began working as an educational assistant in Marysville schools and that experience working with teachers encouraged her to go back to school to get a teaching degree. She again chose WWU and completed her elementary education training. After two years as a substitute teacher Mrs. Moynihan came to work at St. Pius X School in the fall of 2007 teaching 2nd grade where she has remained for these past nine years. She really enjoys being able to teach kids about Reconciliation and Eucharist. Her favorite subjects continue to be math and science. On occasion Mrs. Moynihan is able to share her love of music and help the student choir at Mass. Mrs. Moynihan and her husband sing in the choir at Immaculate Conception Church in Everett, their home parish.
Jamie Burns - Third Grade
Miss Burns grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Carroll College in Montana. After graduation, she went to work for two years as a missionary in Honduras. She arrived back in her home state and joined the St. Pius family in 2014. Miss Burns enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and growing in her faith.
Katelyn Sheridan - Fourth Grade
Ms. Sheridan is the oldest of four children and graduated from Loyola Marymount University's teacher preparation program in 2015. She grew up in Sammamish where she attended Eastside Catholic before finishing high school in Thousand Oaks, California. Her hobbies include crafting, exploring downtown and cheering on the Seahawks every chance she gets!
Maddie Creighton - Fifth Grade
Our 5th Grade homeroom teacher is Miss Creighton. This will be her 5th year of teaching and her 5th year at St. Pius X Catholic School. She graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) with a B.A. in Elementary Education in 2011. Miss Creighton is an alum of the Seattle Archdiocesan schools. She grew up attending Christ the King School in North Seattle and then graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School. She is very passionate about Catholic education and CYO sports. She has previously coached Cross Country, Track and Field and Volleyball at St. Pius X. Miss Creighton is a fan of Seahawk and WSU football, cats, reading, and coffee.
Paula VanHollebeke - Sixth Grade and Middle School Math
Mrs. Van Hollebeke (Paula) was born in New York while her dad, Paul was getting his Master's in math at Syracuse University. The family of seven moved to Renton, WA after he graduated, and Mrs. Van Hollebeke was two. She enjoyed piano lessons, skiing, swimming, Girl Scouts, gymnastics, softball. She settled on swimming, and that became her focus. She swam varsity 4-years in high school, and in college at CWU where she got her B.A. in Elementary Education. She substitute taught in a few public school districts and within the Archdiocese of Seattle. She taught at Assumption-St. Bridget in the 1990's until she was married to Paul and had children. They have two daughters, both of whom attend Bishop Blanchet High School. Mrs. Van Hollebeke substitute taught while the girls were growing up, mainly in middle school math. She is very excited to be at St. Pius X!
Christene Poteet- Seventh Grade
A native of Kent, WA, Mrs. Poteet grew up reading everything she could get her hands on. She developed her love of literature while attending Holy Family School in Auburn and John F. Kennedy Catholic High School. She loves the memories of staying up late at night and reading with a flashlight in bed as she discovered another mystery or fantasy novel that she just couldn’t put down. Later, Mrs. Poteet attended Gonzaga University and graduated with a degree in International Relations and Political Science. She spent the next seven years working at local and international corporations, but something important was missing in her life. She missed the ability to make a difference in the world and to share the books she loves with people. She went back to school and received a Masters Degree in Teaching from Western Governors University. This year, she hopes that she can teach students to be life-long lovers of books in class. She is a deep believer in the value of a Catholic education and feels blessed to be a part of the St. Pius X Community. Mrs. Poteet adores spending time with her husband, Scott, and her adorable toddler, Elizabeth, and still tries to read as much as possible.
Sarah Nadalin - Eighth Grade and Middle School Science
Ms. Nadalin was born in Maryland then moved to Minnesota and then Texas where she grew up from ages 3-19. She went to college at Corban University in Salem, Oregon and majored in Biology and Education. Ms. Nadalin has no brothers or sisters. She has a 2 year old golden retriever named Kiera. She has raced her car with her dad since she was 15 and still does at race tracks like Portland International Raceway, Bremerton, and Pacific Raceway. She also loves swimming, paddle boarding, skiing, and doing ceramics in her free time.
Lisa Fox - Technology and Middle School Social Studies
Mrs. Fox has been teaching at St. Pius X since 2010. She currently teaches Technology and Middle School Social Studies. She grew up in Colorado and after graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Lisa moved to the Seattle area. She met her husband Mike here and they have made this their home. Lisa and Mike have two children, Ruby and Zane. They both attend St. Pius X. Their family also includes their dog, Pandora. In her free time Mrs. Fox enjoys sports, gardening, reading and movies.
Kate Dwyer - Music Director
Tim Feeney - P.E.
Mr. Feeney has worked at St. Pius X for 8 years. He also teaches at St. Thomas More. Mr. Feeney is married to Kim and they have two daughters.
His hobbies include boating, jogging, traveling, reading and gardening.
Mr. Feeney is excited to teach PE every day and is blessed to have his dream job.
Judi Rash - Preschool
Karen Raney - ESS and Preschool
Mrs. Raney has been with St. Pius X for 20 years. She runs the before and after school ESS program, Pre-School Assitant, recess and lunch duty and works in the Parish Office. Both of her sons, Christopher and David attended and graduated from St. Pius X and now her granddaughter Kenzie attends. Her family also includes her dog, Roy. Mrs. Raney enjoys walking Roy, gardening, reading but mostly she enjoys her family.
