St. Pius X Catholic School recently received re-accreditation this past June 2018 and awarded a six year term by the Western Catholic Educational Association.
Accreditation is a process that provides a form of recognition by an external agency which assures that a school and its community are committed to the process of ongoing self improvement based on a self study resulting in a three day site visit by representatives of WCEA and a final report that entails target goals for the future. Accredited schools complete an annual report stating progress towards its goals to ensure student improvement. St. Pius X Catholic School is approved by Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Washington State Board of Education.
