Our dinner event is a full evening of entertainment that all our St. Pius families and friends are invited to enjoy. Consists of music, live entertainment, and games - while offering hors d'oeuvre, drinks, and dinner. There is a zing of excitement when the paddles go up and the auction begins! A good old-fashioned battle for the most coveted auction items that you can only experience in person.
No - a ticket to our live auction gets you all-inclusive access to dinner, drinks, entertainment, and our exclusive live auction items. Bidding for our silent auction packages will all take place online through Greater Giving (an online auction platform). You will need to register separately (free) on our Greater Giving auction platform once that becomes available closer to the auction.
Not all the items available in our auction will be available for online bidding. We really want you to join us for our in-person event so though some packages will be available to preview in Greater Giving (our online bidding platform), they'll remain exclusively available to those attending the live in-person event. We've decided to reserve the most exciting and coveted items for our live auction.
Nope! Participating in the online bidding/silent auction portion of our event is free to anyone who would like to support our school. All our silent auction packages will be available through online bidding (visit Greater Giving) - just Create an Account and you can start bidding!
YES! We will have childcare available for potty-trained children. This is a free-will offering available for those attending the auction. St. Pius X School is located in Mountlake Terrace and serves Pre-School - 8th grade. We are dedicated to a Catholic education that equips students with the academic tools they will need to choose any future they want. We pride ourselves on providing the students with a quality experience that promotes academic excellence, moral values, and service to the community. Our goal is to develop our students to become responsible, caring individuals who flourish into outstanding members of society.

If you are not able to sponsor us monetarily at this time, perhaps you could donate an auction item! They may be sent to the school or picked up by one of our volunteers. Expiration dates for items need to be good for one year after the auction date (i.e. April 27, 2025). A procurement form can be sent via email for your records.

We ask that all families in St. Pius X school participate in our school auction. There are multiple avenues for getting involved, as well as requirements that each family must fulfill. Please review the details below!

Each family must donate a(n) item(s) worth at least $100 (receipt attached to the item) and also provide a $50 cash donation, which is taken through FACTS in February 2024. To fulfill the $100 requirement, there are 3 options:
Purchase an item from our Amazon Wishlist. Consider purchasing SCRIP for Amazon when making your purchase so that we can maximize the rebates (at no cost to you) back to the school!
Elect to have your $100 placed in our "package pool". We have a collection of packages and experiences that we would like to procure. Families place their $100 donation in a pool allowing us to procure higher-priced packages (ie concert tickets, staycations, boat rentals, and more). To have your $100 applied to the pool, email [email protected] by Feb. 2.
Put together a custom package. If you have a rental, tickets to an event, timeshare, boat or more that you'd like to donate time for, reach out to us and that can be used to fulfill your auction item. Items/Gifts will need preapproved. Message us at [email protected].
Each family must provide a min. 4 volunteer hours (of their 40-hour school requirement) to support the production of our school auction. Examples include: procurement, invitations, thank you letters, class projects, catalog production, set up, and clean up.

A large part of our fundraising comes from the sponsorship of businesses for our event. There a multiple tiers of sponsorship, as well as businesses receiving marketing space in our auction catalog and bid sheets.
