The academic curriculum at St. Pius X is one that challenges students to develop basic skills and good study habits. The curriculum and instructional practices at St. Pius X School provide differentiated instruction to support all students’ learning needs at various levels. The core curriculum offerings are:

St. Pius X welcomes students to a world of adventure, fantasy, mystery, and intrigue in the St. Pius X School Library. Historical stories to inspire and gain courage in facing life's quest await them. This year, we are raising the achievement of our students by providing them with research and study skills curriculum. They gain new insights as faculty and students share their passion for reading with weekly book talks. St. Pius X school library is an invaluable resource our students draw upon time and time again.

St. Pius X School's computer education starts in Pre-Kindergarten. Younger grades learn the parts of the computer and basic skills through educational software games. In first grade, students begin basic typing skills. In Middle School students are provided a foundation of skills to efficiently, effectively and responsibly utilize technology. Students will build a foundation in Microsoft Office, keyboarding, and Internet exploration. Students will reinforce basic keyboarding and presentation skills with an emphasis on Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, Internet Safety, PowerPoint presentations and research. Students begin coding lessons in 2nd grade.

St. Pius X students are scheduled a Physical Education Class twice a week.This time provides a foundation of skills for students to develop motor skills and physical fitness while involved in activities that help develop creative thinking and skills that will empower them to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Our students participate in a choral music program that allows them to learn more about music, how it is used at Mass and they learn a variety of musical styles to perform at both Spring and Christmas concert programs. Music is taught PreK-8 weekly.
