What is the Annual Fund anyway?

One of the most important fundraisers of the school year is swiftly approaching on November 13: The 2021 Annual Fund Event. For those of you who have been at St. Pius for a while, you may notice the slight change in wording--"Event" instead of "Dinner." As was the case last year, we are changing things up for this year's Annual Fund; we will be able to provide a semi-virtual event, by celebrating and recognizing our Distinguished Graduate and Young Alum honorees and their families in attendance, and our families, friends, and supporters of St. Pius X School live-streaming from home.

The Annual Fund helps raise money to help fill the gap between tuition income and our operating expenses each year. Newly minted co-chairs Ana Montoya-Alm and Careylin Griffin have stepped up to lead this year's event and we could use your help! From the ground up, we rely on parents to lend a hand in publicity, communications, alumni relations, mailings, media and digital production, and day-of support. 

Entertainment at our Annual Fund is always one of the highlights of the evening. This year we will be showcasing our St. Pius X School students in a Talent Show. I'm so grateful to Mrs. Dwyer, Ms. Andrews, and Mrs. Poteet for spearheading the show. We will post more information in the newsletter and from your classroom teachers so stay tuned (and start practicing)!
